Pillfolio collects information you provide directly, such as medication details, reminders, and account information, to enable app functionality. When you choose to connect your health record using SMART on FHIR, Pillfolio securely accesses your medication history and patient information (name, ID, date of birth) from your healthcare provider's EHR system (e.g., Epic MyChart or Oracle Health Cerner). This data is fetched in real-time and stored locally on your device. We do not store your login credentials or health data on our servers. All health data is stored securely on your device. We do not sell or share your health information with third parties.
How We Use Your Information
Your data is used solely to provide medication management features and to improve the user experience. We do not use your data for marketing purposes or share it externally.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we encourage you to protect your device with a passcode or equivalent.
Data Retention
Your medication data, reminders, and account information are stored locally on your device. We do not store your personal health data on our servers. Your data remains on your device until you choose to delete it manually from the app settings. You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time. If you uninstall the app without deleting your account, your data will remain on your device until you reinstall and delete it, or until you manually delete the app's data from your device settings.
Your Choices
You can access and update your account information at any time from the app settings. You may also permanently delete your account and all associated data directly within the app. This deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Children’s Privacy
Pillfolio is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
